How To: Share my Homeschool Planet Calendar with Apple Calendar

Adding your Homeschool Planet calendar to Apple Calendar

  1. In Calendar on your Mac, choose File … New Calendar Subscription.
  2. Paste the address you copied from Homeschool Planet’s “Share Out” feature into the input field labeled “Calendar URL”, then click the “Subscribe” button. (See “How To: Share my Homeschool Planet Calendar” for details on where to find this address.)
  3. Enter a name for your calendar in the Name field, and choose a color if you want.
  4. Change the value in Auto-Refresh to tell Calendar how often to check with Homeschool Planet for updates.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Your Homeschool Planet events will now be displayed on your Apple Calendar.

Note: Apple Calendar has no support for assignments; they will not be shared into your Apple Calendar.
