How To: Find the Share In Address for Google

A video guide to locating the Share In address you need to display your Google Calendar events in Homeschool Planet.

Finding the Share In address for Google Calendar

  1. Go to your Google calendar page.
  2. Find the Google calendar you would like to share in the left column, under the “My calendars” heading.
  3. Open the menu next to that calendar, and choose the “Calendar Settings” option. (Note: do not choose “Share Calendar” – that does not have the options you will need).

  4. Find the “Private Address:” section, and choose on the “ICAL” button: (Note: do not choose the button in the “Calendar Address” section – that address will not work in this situation).

  5. In the popup window that appears, use your browser’s “copy” function to copy the address that is displayed.
  6. Return to Homeschool Planet, and continue with the “Share In” instructions.
